    I was invited to participate in the Men’s Health six week 6 pack challenge for which I trained Sky Sports presenter, Alex Payne. The goal was to achieve 6 pack abs in six weeks. Consequently, I devised this training and nutrition plan. Following the plan and with Alex’s hard work and dedication the results were fantastic. Here is what Alex had to say…

    Alex Payne “For six weeks I was put under the guidance of Steve Coleman for the Men’s Health Six Pack Challenge. From the very first session it became apparent to Steve just how much hard work he needed to do in order to whip me into shape, and such was his dedication to the cause that he joined in with the diet and exercise regime. It meant we were in it together, which helped enormously when the going got tough!

    The training involved five sessions per week, a mixture of weights, bodyweight and kettlebell exercises. Steve was brilliant at keeping things fresh, finding new challenges and ways of training which was vital to keep motivation levels high. He kicked me when I felt idle, laughed at me when I got cross and encouraged me when I needed it most. He was a pleasure to be flogged by, and hopefully the pictures speak for themselves when it comes to proving that he knows what he’s doing.

    What could have been a long hard slog became a real focus and a goal for us both. While I can’t say I enjoyed every minute, the overall experience was one that I am so glad to have taken part in – and that is predominantly down to the man who trained me. To Steve, a huge thank you.” Alex Payne

    After Just 6 weeks Alex went from a 19% body fat to 12%, he lost 6cm from his waist and gained 4cm around his chest and here’s how he did it…
